SAMPLE - COMPLAINT, PRISE INCREASE

Anger results from disappointment.  We believe that if the roles  were reversed, the actions taken would not have been our own.  Pardon
my anger over receiving notification that [COMPANY] has increased the
price dramatically for [ITEM1].

I find it inconceivable, however, that [COMPANY]'s management could have approved such a ludicrous move.  You are forcing many established customers, like [COMPANY NAME], to look elsewhere. [COMPANY] is not the only company selling [ITEM1].  My professional career has formed around solid relationships and ours appears to be ending.

This is precisely why I have chosen to vent my disappointment through this letter.  Up to now, I chose [COMPANY].  Your professional practices were quite respectable and consistent with our own.  As this is no longer the case, know that we are evaluating other sources for our needs.

To stop other vendor proposals from entering my office, [COMPANY]
must fulfill its customer satisfaction obligations and live up to our company's expectations.  If this is possible, please telephone at your earliest convenience.  I hope to hear from you shortly.  Your price increase is a dangerous and losing proposition, but together we can hange its direction.
