SAMPLE - COMPLAINT, BAD SERVICE

Have you seen the advertisements or noticed a trend in titles on  the New York Times nonfiction best-seller list? Actually, you don't even need to pick up a book or magazine to see that service has become a thread that runs through the fabric of business the world over.

Today, the word "service" is thrown around as if it were something brand new.  Service, however, has had the power to make or break sellers for as long as there have been buyers.  I would like to help [COMPANY] by relating an incident exposing lack of respect and abominable service.

On [ITEM1], [COMPANY NAME] had the unpleasant experience of  [ITEM2].  Not being a company to create waves, we handled the issue tactfully by [ITEM3].

The average person is commonly believed to have at least 200 acquaintances.  Bad news spreads like wildfire.  I hope this type of experience is one your company calls the exception rather than the rule.
