Insurance.  You pay for it.  You may never need it.  But when you do need it, you are supposed to be glad you have it.  Reflecting back on [ITEM2] when [ITEM3], I found comfort in believing that [COMPANY] would abide by its promises of investment protection and loss minimization.

I want to continue to maintain that insurance makes misfortune more bearable.  However, our company's experience with [COMPANY] makes
me wonder if that belief is realistic.  Pardon such frankness, but the
settlement claim for [ITEM3] covered under policy number [ITEM4] is
aggravating, not easing, the pain of our misfortune.

There are apparently errors or omissions in the list of the damages that have caused an inadequate claim settlement.  Glancing at the settlement description, the obvious errors include: [ITEM5].  It is my hope that [COMPANY] will take a proactive position resulting in  an increased reimbursement.  Only then, will a chance exist that [COMPANY NAME] will consider its insurance premiums money well spent.
